Student Visa

A student visa is a document that is attached to the passport when travelling abroad for studies. It is circulated by the government of the country, where you’re going to get an education. A student visa grants you to enter the country as an international student and stay while attending the designated course.

Almost every student needs a student visa who wishes to travel abroad to study. It allows you to have extended in the country where you’re pursuing your education.

It usually isn’t required if you’re heading abroad for a short course or travelling as a visitor. It can also be avoided if there’s a memorable travel agreement between the countries which allows you to enter it just on the basis of your passport.

There’s a specific procedure set for every country for obtaining its visa, administered by the immigration officials of the destination country. However, the necessary process is the same throughout.

For applying for a student visa, you have required a passport in addition to the documentation showing that you have been offered a seat in the course of study of the destination country. The University you’re enrolled in provides you with the enrollment documentation.

For many countries, you can start applying as soon as you have been offered a place in the approved course. But it might not be issued to you unless you have accepted the offer and received the Letter of Confirmation from the University. In some cases, the course provider may ask you to submit the tuition fees before confirming your enrollment.

To be granted a student visa, one would typically have to produce several documents related to the application. And according to how the immigration officials ask for, like the original copies, translated and certified copies.
